Virginia Deputy deploys spike strip to stop high-speed car chase

A Stafford County deputy ended a high-speed pursuit in Fredericksburg, Virginia Thursday by deploying a spike strip device in front of a fleeing suspect’s car. Video released by the Stafford County Sherriff’s Office shows Deputy J.W. McAllister unfurling the “stinger” moments before the criminal drove over the spikes.
