Chinese President Xi Jinping concluded his three-day diplomatic visit to the United States on Friday, departing in the early afternoon.
Chief of Protocol Monica Crowley was seen on the tarmac escorting Xi to the plane at Joint Base Andrews.
The trip saw Xi become the first Chinese leader to make a second formal diplomatic visit to the United States. It was also his first time meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House.

Xi's trip also saw him announce that China would send two more giant pandas to the Atlanta zoo, in an extension of Beijing's "panda diplomacy" efforts.
