China expert Gordan Chang said Wednesday that some of the biggest threats to U.S. security are operatives from countries like Russia, China and Iran.

"I guess the single greatest threat would be the Chinese, Iranian and Russian networks of operatives in our country," Chang said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.

Chang said that because of the open border, thousands of unvetted people have gotten into the U.S., posing a national security risk.

"Especially towards the end of the Biden administration, there were a lot of packs of Chinese males coming in from groups of four to 15...now with this, there has been an uptick in the tempo of incursions and attempted incursions into our military bases," he said.

Regarding a potential Chinese strike on U.S. soil, Chang said he thought the possibility of that was low, but possible.

"You know, right now, we have a China where the Communist Party is in disarray," he said. "We have Xi Jinping losing power. He certainly lost control of the military. He's got problems in the civilian leadership. We're seeing all of these signs. And so desperate people do desperate things."
