Former world boxing champ Ricky Hatton dead at 46

Former boxing champion Ricky Hatton has died, according to news reports Sunday. He was 46.

The popular British boxer was a world champion in two weight classes and was attempting a comeback later this year, according to The New York Post.

Hatton's body was reportedly found at a home in Hyde following a call from a neighbor, but his death is not being treated as suspicious. 

His professional career spanned from 1997-2012, and his lifetime record of 45-3 included championships as a light-welterweight and welterweight before losses in 2007, the newspaper also reports.
