Protesters take to streets in Scotland during Trump's visit

Protesters took to the streets in Scotland to object to President Donald Trump's visit on Saturday as he golfed on the coast.

Trump, his son Eric and the U.S. ambassador to Britain, Warren Stephens, played golf close to Turnberry, according to The Associated Press.

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered close to the U.S. Consulate, which is about 100 miles away from the Scottish capital.

Eric Trump posted a picture of him and his father on the golf course with no caption on the social media platform X.

Trump departed the White House on Friday to go to Scotland for a four-day visit. He met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Friday evening. 

The president has two golf properties in Scotland, located in Turnberry and Aberdeen.

The Turnberry golf resort was opened on Scotland's west coast in 2014 and the Aberdeen course was opened in 2012.
