Israel vows revenge for Iran's missile attack on hospital, injuring 70

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said Thursday Iran's missile attack on a hospital was a "war crime"and vowed revenge, as the Middle East countries enter their second week of reciprocal air strikes. 

He also said over 70 people were injured in the missile attack earlier in the day on Soroka Hospital.

Sa'ar made the comments at a press conference outside the facility, where more than 70 people were injured.

"Behind me you can see the surgery building. It is a building in which every day, the medical team, the doctors, are making tremendous efforts to save human lives," he said at a press conference. 

"This is exactly the place where the Iranian regime targeted - a civilian hospital. This is clearly a war crime," Sa'ar also said, according to Fox News.

Israel struck first, on June 12, amid the United States' failing efforts to reach a deal with Iran in which the country would agree to stop the enrichment of uranium to create a nuclear weapon.
