Iran state media reports U.S. strike hit wedding, killing 4, CENTCOM denies civilians targeted

Iran's state-controlled television network reported Wednesday that a wedding celebration in the south of Iran was struck by three U.S. missiles, killing at least four people and wounding dozens. 

The U.S. military didn't confirm or deny that an American airstrike occurred in the location. 

U.S. Central Command spokesman Commander Tim Hawkins told CBS News that CENTCOM is aware of the reports from state media, but unlike Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the U.S. military "never targets civilians." 

The Iranian foreign ministry also reported the strike, saying that 50 people were injured.
