Iran warns ships crossing Strait of Hormuz without authorization 'will be dealt with'
The management of traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, a waterway vital to trade out of the Persian Gulf, has been an ongoing issue in negotiations between the U.S. and Iran.
The Iranian military on Thursday warned that ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz require their authorization. Those that don't comply, it said, "will be dealt with."
The Revolutionary Guards, the ideological arm of Iran's military, said that crossing the strait without authorization is "unacceptable and extremely dangerous," CBS News reported.
