Israel intercepts drone directed toward northern Israel
“Following alerts that were activated regarding the intrusion of a hostile aircraft between 00:52–00:53 in Ramat Magshimi and Haspin, the Air Force intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle that was launched from the east toward the territory of the State of Israel,” read the IAF post translated from Hebrew.
The Israeli Air Force announced on social media that it had intercepted a drone on Sunday that was launched from the east toward northern Israel.
“Following alerts that were activated regarding the intrusion of a hostile aircraft between 00:52–00:53 in Ramat Magshimi and Haspin, the Air Force intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle that was launched from the east toward the territory of the State of Israel,” read the IAF post translated from Hebrew.
Iran and Israel have exchanged attacks over the last few weeks but the source of the drone is unclear.
