Israel military says it has 'eliminated' two Hamas operatives tied to major funding network

The operatives have been identified as Hussein Qadra ​and Mohammed ​Farra.

The Israeli military ​said ‌Sunday that it has "eliminated" two operatives in ⁠the military ​wings of Hamas ​and Islamic Jihad who facilitated the transfer of more ​than ​half ⁠a billion shekels ​to Hamas. 

The operatives have been identified as Hussein Qadra ​and Mohammed ​Farra. They were reportedly killed in Gaza in a June strike. The amount o money transferred is equal to roughly $170 million.

Qadra and Farra led the financial network and acted under ‌Hamas ⁠leadership, according to a report from Reuters based on an X post by the Israel Defense Forces.
