The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have seized over 6,000 weapons from Hamas since it declared war against the terror group following its October 7 attack on southern Israel, which killed more than 1,400 people, The Washington Times reports.
The confiscated weapons includes anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles, rockets, mortars and explosives, according to a statement Friday from IDF officials.
The IDF statement said that Israel has hit more than 15,000 targets inside the Gaza Strip.
The targets included operation command centers, terror and rocket infrastructure, weapons and logistics depots, launch posts, tunnels and “numerous” Hamas terrorists, in addition to command, control and intelligence targets.
Soldiers inside Gaza, according to The Times, are also coordinating joint attacks with the Israeli air force and navy.
