Qatar says ceasefire between Israel and Hamas begins at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday

Qatar’s foreign ministry Majid al-Ansari posted on social media Saturday that the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel will begin at 8:30am on Sunday.

He urged people to proceed with caution as the agreement takes effect and wait for formal directions from officials, according to a report from the Associated Press.

Israel’s Cabinet approved the ceasefire agreement on Friday, which would release hostages and pause the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas.
