President Trump denied reports that Iran had broken off negotiations with the United States to end the war and stated that negotiations had continued uninterrupted.
The United States Central Command said Tuesday night that U.S. forces have successfully defended itself against aggressive Iranian behavior and countered with self-defense strikes on Qeshm Island in the Persian Gulf.
The U.S. military said Iran launched several ballistic missiles toward regional neighbors in the Middle East, which all failed to hit their targets of Bahrain and Kuwait.
Also on Tuesday, President Trump denied reports that Iran had broken off negotiations with the United States to end the war and stated that negotiations had continued uninterrupted.
"Fake News Reports that the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the U.S.A., stopped speaking a few days ago are false and erroneous," Trump posted on Truth Social. "The conversations between us have been going on continuously, including four days ago, three days ago, two days ago, one day ago, and today."
"Where they lead, one never knows, but as I told Iran, 'It’s time, one way or another, for you to make a Deal. You’ve been doing this for 47 years, and it cannot be allowed to go on any longer!'" he added.
