Infant and young woman killed in Ukraine from largest Russian air strikes of war

Russia launched a barrage of drones and missiles toward Ukraine overnight into Sunday that killed three Ukrainians, including an infant and a young woman, and resulted in a fire at Kyiv's main government building.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the fatalities. There have been 18 reported injuries. 

According to Ukraine, roughly 805 drones and 13 missiles were launched and air defenses intercepted about 751 drones and 4 missiles.

Reuters reported that the drone attacks targeted residential districts in Pecherskyi, Darnytskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi.

The drone attacks resulted in fires and damaged buildings. Firefighters were photographed putting out a fire in a damaged residential apartment building in Kyiv.

The latest attack reportedly marked the largest number of weapons used since the start of the invasion.
