CPAC: 'If you're not actively working to save America, you're working for the Democrats': Gorka
Gorka served as deputy assistant and top strategist to President Trump
Former Trump adviser Sebastian Gorka said Friday that conservatives who are not actively getting involved in local politics are "actively working for the Democrats."
"If you're not actively working to save America, you're working for the Democrats," Gorka said at the annual CPAC event outside of Washington, D.C., in suburban Maryland.
He also encourage attendees, among the GOP most conservative members and now largely MAGA loyalists – to persue such grassroots efforts and activism as becoming an election officer, running for school board and knocking on doors for this year's election.
"If you're not running for the local school board or helping somebody who is, I'm sorry if you take this personally but please take it personally: 'If you're not doing any of that, you're helping Joe Biden with his creation of the police state,'" Gorka said.
Republicans have been criticizing and accusing the Biden administration, including its federal agencies, of running a two-tier system of justice in which conservatives are being targeted.
