House Speaker Mike Johnson disclosed his formal guest list Tuesday night for President Donald Trump's State of the Union address, which includes NASA astronauts and the brother of one of the Jewish embassy staffers murdered in Washington, D.C., last year.

President Trump is expected to deliver the televised address at 9 p.m. Eastern to a joint session of Congress and their guests. Dozens of Democratic lawmakers are expected to skip the speech to attend counterprogramming.

Johnson said he is bringing NASA astronauts and Artemis II crew members Reid Wiseman, the commander, Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialist Christina Koch, and Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen.

"After years of meticulous planning and preparation, NASA is poised to launch its first crewed mission to venture around the moon in more than half a century," Johnson said in a thread on X. It is my privilege to welcome these brave and courageous astronauts as my guests at the State of the Union Address."
