Congresswoman Harriet Hageman, R-Wyo., on Tuesday confirmed that there was a possibility a "Big Beautiful Bill" part two was in the works, and it would focus on energy and immigration.

"I've been hearing the same thing," Hageman said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show when told a second "Big Beautiful Bill" was in the works. "We're gearing up for it. In fact, we had a meeting in my office this morning about some of the energy issues that we want to include in the next bill, because we aren't done."

The first "Big Beautiful Bill" was signed by President Donald Trump on July 4. It had key components of Trump's campaigned-upon agenda, such as no taxes on tips, increased border security funding and extending his 2017 tax cuts.

"We have to keep doing the business of the American people," Hageman said. "We have started in terms of addressing the security and our border, but there's more to do."

She said the second bill would have more to do with illegal immigration and visa programs.

"There's more to do in terms of looking at what we're doing with our sanctuary cities," she said. "For example, I have a bill that for any sanctuary city, they can't get student visas. If there are universities in a sanctuary city, we're not going to give them student visas."
