Supreme Court lets DOGE access Social Security systems
Musk recently broke with the president over the "big, beautiful bill" in a high-profile social media row.
The Supreme Court on Friday allowed the Department of Government Efficiency to access sensitive systems related to Social Security, lifting a lower court that barred the agency from doing so.
The ruling was one of two victories for DOGE at SCOTUS on Friday, as the top court also eliminated a ruling that required DOGE produce records in another suit, The Hill reported.
It is unclear how DOGE will proceed after former chief Elon Musk left government last month. Musk has subsequently broken with the president over the "big, beautiful bill" in a high-profile social media row.
