Rex Heuermann, 60, was arrested in July 2023 in connection with the killings.
The New York man accused of killing several sex workers and dumping their bodies on Long Island's Gilgo Beach was charged Thursday in connection with two more killings.
The charges brings the total number of women who Rex Heuermann has been accused to killing to at least six, according to NBC News.
The charges, announced in Suffolk County Superior Court, are second-degree murder stemming from the slayings of Jessica Taylor and Sandra Costilla.
The 60-year-old Heuermann was arrested July 14, 2023.
He was originally charged with murder in the killings of Melissa Barthelemy, 24, Megan Waterman, 22, and Amber Lynn Costello, 27. The accused serial killer was charged earlier this year in the killing of Maureen Brainard-Barnes, 25, NBC News also reports.
