Stephen Miller blasts 'stupid white hippies' protesting D.C. crackdown
“We are going to get back to the business of protecting the American people and the citizens of Washington, D.C.," he added.
White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller on Wednesday tore into protesters who mobbed him, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth at Union Station.
“We are going to ignore these stupid white hippies that all need to go home and take a nap because they’re all over ninety years old," he said, highlighting that the city was largely black and that the federal crackdown was serving to provide safety to the local residents.
“We are going to get back to the business of protecting the American people and the citizens of Washington, D.C.," he added.
The trio were present at the station to review the progress of the city's clean-up effort. The area has long been a known hot spot for the homeless and drug users, with many tents dotting the lawn outside the facility.
Video footage did show a number of demonstrators loudly voicing their opposition to the crackdown. Many were in fact white, though few appeared to be anywhere close to 90 years old.
