DHS Secretary Kristi Noem transported to Washington DC hospital over allergic reaction

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem on Tuesday was transported to a local hospital in Washington, D.C. after suffering an allergic reaction.
Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin confirmed the hospitalization in a comment shared with Just The News, stating that the secretary was alert and recovering from the allergy. It is not clear what caused the reaction.
“Secretary Noem had an allergic reaction today," McLaughlin said. "She was transported to the hospital out of an abundance of caution. She is alert and recovering.”
