A man yelled "Free Palestine" as he used a makeshift flamethrower Sunday to attack participants in Boulder, Colo., holding a vigil for Israeli hostages in Gaza, injuring six in what the FBI called a targeted terror attack.

Mark Michalek, the FBI special agent in charge of the Denver field office, said 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman was taken into custody.

There were earlier reports of the suspect allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails into a crowd at the Pearl Street Mall.

Local news outlets had reported that the pro-Israel march was taking place in the area where the attack occurred.

The specific charges were not immediately available.

A video posted on social media shows a shirtless man yelling at people and calling them "killers."

There were six victims being treated for injuries, according to reports

"We are aware of and fully investigating a targeted terror attack in Boulder, Colorado," FBI Director Kash Patel wrote on X Sunday.

"Our agents and local law enforcement are on the scene already, and we will share updates as more information becomes available," he added.

Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino said FBI personnel are on the scene, along with local law enforcement.

"We are investigating this incident as an act of terror, and targeted violence. All of the necessary assets will be dedicated to this investigation," he wrote on X. "If you have any investigative tips please contact the FBI. And if you aided or abetted this attack, we will find you. You cannot hide."

The attack occurred just over a week after two young Israeli embassy staffers in Washington were gunned down by a Chicago man who yelled “I did it for Palestine, I did it for Gaza” as he was ushered away by police.
