U.S. forces strike narcotics vessel, killing 3

U.S. forces struck a narcotics vessel that was operated by a designated terrorist organization in the Eastern Pacific, Southern Command said in an X post on Saturday. 

The strike resulted in the death of three suspected narco-terrorists.

U.S. Southern Command said it was a "lethal kinetic strike," which was part of Operation Southern Spear. 

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth recently announced the operation, which targets narco-terrorism networks throughout Latin America.

The total number of suspected narco-terrorists killed currently totals 82. There have been three survivors, according to a Fox News report.
