GOP Rep. Mace gets into heated exchange with fellow shopper over holding next town hall, posts video
The video, about two-minutes long, appears to start shortly after the exchange between Mace and the voter began.
South Carolina GOP Rep. Nancy Mace says in a video post that she got into a heated exchange Saturday with a fellow shopper over when she'll hold her next town hall event and included a video of the encounter.
"Some unhinged lunatic, wearing daisy dukes, at a makeup store, got in my face today. Dems are nuts," the conservative lawmaker said in the post on X. "So I went off – and I won’t be backing down.
The video, about two-minutes long, appears to start shortly after the exchange between Mace and the man began, with Mace saying that she holds town hall-style events "every year," while accusing the voter of "harassing" her, according to Fox News.
"I’ve already done one, I’ll do plenty more," Mace tells the shopper. "You’re always invited."
The shopper responded: "It’s a simple question."
Mace, later in the video, tells the shopper in the exchange that apparently occurred in her home state: "You people on the left are absolutely f---ing crazy. Get out of my face."
