Police detained a man near the Capitol on Wednesday morning who had guns and a bow and arrow in his vehicle.
U.S. Capitol Police told Fox News on Wednesday that "officers saw an unusual vehicle on Pennsylvania Avenue with a tri-cycle strapped to the roof." After examining the vehicle more closely, the "officers saw a bow and arrow and empty gun holster in plain view.
"The owner of the vehicle was located just outside of the Capitol complex's north barricade, and was detained for further questioning. The individual admitted to having guns in the vehicle, along with the bow and arrow."
The incident occurred around 9 a.m.
A picture of the man being detained appears to show him wearing an unusual outfit with a cowboy hat.
