The Trump administration has reportedly told its allies in the Middle East that it will not involve itself militarily in the ongoing hostilities between Iran and Israel unless the Islamic Republic directly targets Americans.

Thus far, the U.S. has helped Israel shoot down Iranian missiles and drones to defend its territory, but has not committed to offensive maneuvers. Axios reported on the administration's messages to security partners, citing "two sources from countries that received that U.S. message."

The report comes amid mixed reporting about Iran's willingness to make an agreement. The Netanyahu government, meanwhile, has dismissed the prospect of "fake talks" and has indicated it plans to continue fighting.

MAGA politicians, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., have openly opposed U.S. involvement.

"Anyone slobbering for the U.S. to become fully involved in the Israel/Iran war is not America First/MAGA," she posted.
"Wishing for murder of innocent people is disgusting.

We are sick and tired of foreign wars.  All of them."
