President Trump is attending the Washington Commanders game, which will include an NFL 'Salute to Service' ceremony on Sunday.
Trump is expected to sit with Commanders' owner Josh Harris.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth was spotted chatting with Harris at the ceremony prior to Trump's arrival.
Air Force One flew over the stadium prior to the start of the festivities to mark Veterans Day.
"We are honored to welcome President Trump to the game as we celebrate those who have served and continue to serve our country," Commanders club president Mark Clouse said this week. "The entire Commanders organization is proud to participate in the NFL’s league-wide Salute to Service initiative, recognizing the dedication and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans, active-duty service members, and their families this Sunday."
The last president to attend a regular season NFL game was former President Jimmy Carter in 1978.
