Trump to give economic speech in Iowa on Tuesday

The White House confirmed Monday night that President Donald Trump is expected to give an economic speech in Clive, Iowa, on Tuesday afternoon.

The speech will be part of the president's national affordability tour, where he is expected to highlight his economic agenda in an effort to boost GOP support ahead of the midterm elections later this year. 

He has already given similar speeches in Michigan, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

The president's speech is expected to take place at 3 p.m. Central time, 4 p.m. Eastern.
