White House joins liberal social media platform Bluesky
The White House compiled clips from President Donald Trump's biggest moments since returning to the Oval Office, including video clips from the July military parade, inauguration and meetings with global leaders.
The White House on Friday shared a video on X that announced their entrance to the liberal social media platform Bluesky, highlighting how users solely on the other app would not see the successes of the Trump administration.
The platform emerged as a liberal hub in 2023, after a significant number of Democrats left X in protest of Elon Musk's acquisition of X and subsequent relaxation of X's censorship rules. Vice President JD Vance joined Bluesky in June.

"We realized everyone over at Bluesky probably wasn't seeing our content," the White House wrote in the post. "So we decided to fix that. Here are some of our greatest hits all in one place. Enjoy."
Other parts of the Trump administration also joined Bluesky on Friday, including the Department of Homeland Security.
"PATRIOTS! We must work together and appeal to their patriotic spirit and ask for a hand in stopping the Democrats’ government shutdown," the department posted on X.
