A Florida judge on Tuesday granted prosecutors assigned to Tiger Woods' recent car accident access to the legendary pro golfer's prescription-drug records.

A prosecutor and Woods’ defense team said in a brief court hearing in Florida's Martin County that they agreed on a protective order addressing privacy concerns and keeping some records out of the public’s view, according to NBC News.

“While the state is legally entitled to the records, the defendant still maintains a constitutional privacy interest in the prescription records as it pertains to the general public,” defense attorney Douglas Duncan told the court.

Woods, was arrested March 27 on Jupiter Island, in Martin County, after his SUV hit a truck's trailer and rolled onto its side.

Deputies discovered two pain pills in Woods' pocket, and he showed signs of impairment, according to a sheriff's report.

Woods, tied for first in all-time PGA Tour wins, agreed to a Breathalyzer, which showed no signs of alcohol, but he refused a urine test, according to authorities.

He has pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanors: driving under the influence with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful (sobriety) test.
