Former Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino confirmed Monday that he has created an exploratory committee to help him consider a 2028 presidential bid, which comes as he launched a campaign website.

Bovino, who left Border Patrol in March, has been critical of the Trump administration since his departure, including of Border Czar Tom Homan and Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott, who he has accused of being silent when it comes to the murders of Americans by illegal migrants.

The former commander told News Nation that he is just exploring a 2028 presidential bid right now, but he will move ahead with a formal campaign “if it all comes together.”

Bovino's campaign website features the former commander with the logo "House Bovino, men fight back."

"Following the Commander’s maximum effectiveness in quelling the foreign hordes that have subsumed our nation’s cities, both large and small, the American people witnessed what true leadership, powered by a warrior mindset, actually looks like as The Commander endeavored to restore order and national sovereignty,” the website reads.

The website also highlighted Bovino's 30 years of experience in Border Patrol, which he joined in El Centro, California, in 1996. He also served on foreign assignments in Egypt, Africa and Honduras.

He was removed as Border Patrol commander at large in January, and was pulled out of Minneapolis after federal agents killed two anti-ICE activists.
