Two people dead, three others injured in Dearborn, Michigan, mall shooting

Two people are dead, and three people were wounded following an altercation on Independence Day at a Dearborn, Michigan, shopping mall. 

The shooting happened on the lower level of the mall following a fight between two males, WXYZ7 News reported. 

The Dearborn Police Department said in a Facebook post that they are investigating the shooting, and they asked people to avoid the area. 

People were evacuated from the mall following the incident.
