At least 20 killed in lithium battery factory fire in Seoul
The fire started on the second floor of the factory, in the city of Hwaseong.
Twenty-two people have died in a fire in lithium-battery manufacturing plant near Seoul, official said Monday.
The fire was likely started when some batteries exploding. Most of those who died were Chinese migrant workers, and eight others were injured, according to the Associated Press.
The fire began at about 10:30 a.m., on the second floor of the factory, in the city of Hwaseong.
The dead included 18 Chinese, two South Koreans and one Laotian, a local fire official told the wire service.
