Turning Point USA (TPUSA) on Monday officially kicked off its campus tour with a stop in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which comes less than a month after the organization's leader Charlie Kirk was assassinated in Utah.

Erika Kirk, the organization's new CEO and the widow of its late leader, promised the campus tour would continue just days after her husband's untimely death. She also said "America Fest" in Phoenix will go on as planned in December.

The next TPUSA event is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 24, when the tour will stop at Virginia Tech. Another stop will take place next week at Utah State University. The tour will end in November with a stop at the University of California, Berkeley.

"In a world filled with chaos, doubt and uncertainty, my husband's voice will remain," Erika Kirk promised in a speech earlier this month. "It will ring out louder and more clearly than ever and his wisdom will endure."

The tour comes the day after a formal memorial service was held for Charlie Kirk in Arizona. President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Erika Kirk, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were among the speakers.

TPUSA's board also confirmed Erika Kirk as the company's new CEO last week, stating that it was confident the organization was equipped to overcome the loss of their beloved leader and was proud to replace him with his widow.

“All of us at Turning Point USA have a special role in carrying Charlie Kirk’s mantle and completing his vision of bringing us all closer to our Lord and fostering a prosperous country for generations to come," the board said. "As Charlie always said, ‘We have a country to save.’ We will not surrender or kneel before evil. We will carry on. The attempt to destroy Charlie’s work will become our chance to make it more powerful and enduring than ever before.”
