Peltola campaign says it had no knowledge of Harris endorsement ahead of Alaska primary: report

The campaign of former Rep. Mary Peltola, D-Alaska, said it had no knowledge of former Vice President Kamala Harris planning to endorse her before the Alaska Senate primary, according to the New York Times.

The endorsement came in a fundraising email on Wednesday.

Peltola is running for the Senate seat held by Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska.

The New York Times reported on Peltola's attempt to distance herself from the endorsement.
