President Donald Trump is expected to campaign Thursday night for the Republican in Florida who is hoping to replace National Security Adviser Michael Waltz in Congress, by phoning into tele-town halls.

Florida state Sen. Randy Fine and Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis are both running in tighter races than anticipated. Fine hopes to replace Waltz in Florida's sixth district, while Patronis aims to replace former GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz in the state's first.

Trump will call into a town hall for both GOP nominees in hopes of boosting voter turnout in largely red districts. Fine's Democratic opponent has reportedly raised $10 million for his own race, according to Politico

Fine is also running for the same district that Gov. Ron DeSantis, R, represented when he was in Congress. The governoralso supports Fine's campaign, as do conservative commentator Steve Bannon and first son Donald Trump Jr.

The town halls are expected to start at 6 p.m. eastern for Patronis, and 6:30 p.m. eastern for Fine. The special elections will take place on Tuesday, April 2.
