'Lazy as Hell': Trump knocks Harris for taking day off campaigning
His remarks come after the Harris campaign has repeatedly knocked Trump for following what they deemed a light schedule.
Former President Donald Trump blasted Vice President Kamala Harris for taking a "day off" of campaigning while she records an interview for NBC News.
His remarks come after Trump has faced scrutiny over the frequency of his rallies and his campaigning pace.
"I was gonna hit it really hard on the trail today, but now I don't have to because she's off," Trump said at a roundtable event in Florida. "Who the Hell takes off when you have 14 days left? And she'll take a couple of more days off, too."
"You know why? She's lazy as Hell. She's got that reputation," he went on.
Last week, Trump fended off reports that he was "exhausted" after several interviews fell through. The campaign attributed those developments to scheduling conflicts.
Harris will also record an interview with Telemundo on Tuesday, Yahoo News reported.
