President Donald Trump this weekend lamented to the Republican Jewish Coalition that he only received 35% of the Jewish vote in 2024, despite mounting antisemitism on the left and his stalwart support for Israel.

"I can't imagine we didn't do better than that, after all I've done for the Jewish vote, I must be honest with you," he said. He did thank the RJC for helping him gain the largest percentage of that bloc's support since 1988.

Trump received an estimated 35% of the Jewish vote in 2024. He notably campaigned extensively on the pro-Hamas demonstrations that appeared on college campuses in the wake of the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas raid on Israel that kicked off the Gaza war.

During his speech, Trump touted his efforts to end the conflict, crack down on antisemitism, and to support the Jewish community in the United States.
