Tom Fitton: Post-Election Day ballot counting accelerated after Bush vs. Gore

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton says 19 states and Washington, D.C. count ballots after Election Day. “I know many people use mail-in ballots. It’s the best way to ensure that elections are conducted fairly and it ensures voter confidence,” he says. “Because they know once you drop a ballot in the mail, sketchy things can happen.”
