Biden heckled by protesters during visit to Pennsylvania
Pro-Palestinian protesters made appearances protesting Biden, holding signs that were calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
President Joe Biden received a hostile reaction from hecklers during a Friday visit to Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Residents from the town could be heard shouting, “Go home, Joe!” and “You’re a loser!” according to a report from the New York Post.
Another group near a firefighter training center could be heard shouting, “No vote for genocide Joe," and "We will remember in November."
They were protesting Biden for his apparent support for Israel, holding signs that were calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Biden's handling of the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza has caused division in the Democratic Party, especially with many young voters.
Last month, administration staffers in the Biden administration called for a ceasefire in Gaza during a vigil outside of the White House.
The staffers held a banner stating, "PRESIDENT BIDEN, YOUR STAFF DEMANDS A CEASEFIRE," as candles on the ground were arranged to spell out "CEASEFIRE," according to pictures from the event.
