Vice President Vance booed while attending Kennedy Center performance with wife

Vice President JD Vance was booed Thursday night while watching a performance with his wife at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, in Washington, D.C.

Shortly after Trump took office Jan. 20 he replaced the center's board of trustees with his own members including the second lady. The board also elected Trump as chairman, which has resulted in backlash including performances being canceled.
Vance responded to the booing by sipping his drink and waving to the audience from his balcony seat, according to People magazine.
