Justice Thomas absent from Supreme Court's Monday session without explanation
Chief Justice John Roberts announced Thomas’ absence and said the he would still participate in the day’s cases, based on the briefs and transcripts of the arguments.
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was absent Monday from the court without explanation.
The 75-year-old Thomas also did not participating remotely in arguments, as justices ocassionally do when they are ill or otherwise cannot be there in person, according to the Associated Press.
