DOJ, FBI open investigation into Democrats over 'illegal orders' video: report
The DOJ and FBI reportedly said that they are scheduling interviews with the Congress members involved
The Department of Justice and the FBI have opened an investigation into Democrats over their participation in a video urging troops to defy "illegal orders," according to a report.
The DOJ and FBI confirmed to The Daily Wire that they are scheduling interviews with the Congress members involved, none of whom responded to the outlet's requests for comment.
Democratic Sen. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan, Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona, Pennsylvania Reps. Chris Deluzio and Chrissy Houlahan, Rep. Maggie Goodlander of New Hampshire, and Rep. Jason Crow of Colorado appeared in a video urging military members and intelligence officers to “refuse illegal orders” from the Trump administration.
The DOJ's investigation comes after the Pentagon announced on Monday that it is reviewing "allegations of misconduct against" Kelly after he and other Democrats participated in the video. Kelly was a U.S. Navy fighter pilot before becoming an astronaut and retired at the rank of captain.
