FBI says Wisconsin teen allegedly killed his parents as part of plot to assassinate Trump
Donald Mayer, 51, who was his stepfather and his mother, Tatiana Casap, 35, were discovered dead in their home on March 1.
A Wisconsin teen allegedly killed his parents to come up with the financial means to assassinate President Donald Trump and overthrow the U.S. government, according to the Department of Justice and the FBI.
In March, police arrested Nikita Casap, 17, on several charges including two counts of first-degree murder as well as two counts of hiding a corpse, according to court documents.
Part of his motivation was to allegedly "save the white race," documents showed.
Waukesha County authorities said he faces other charges such as theft of property more than $10,000 and misappropriating identification to gain money.
Prosecutors could also charge him with "conspiracy, presidential assassination and use of weapons of mass destruction," ABC News reported.
