Netanyahu, Zelensky to meet with Trump during visit to Washington for Lindsey Graham funeral

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are expected to meet with President Donald Trump on Tuesday. 

At Trump's invitation, Netanyahu flew to Washington on Monday for Sen. Lindsey Graham's funeral service, according to his office. Zelensky also plans to attend the service, CNBC reported. 

During their visits, both leaders will meet with Trump, giving them an opportunity to discuss their agendas regarding conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine. 

Zelensky's visit comes as the U.S. and Ukrainian officials have been contemplating a new peace proposal to end the war in Ukraine, which is now in its fourth year. For Netanyahu, the meeting with Trump is an opportunity to discuss the Iran war, which is paused to allow for renewed negotiations between the U.S. and Iran.
