President Donald Trump will attend a meeting on Capitol Hill with House Republicans on Tuesday to discuss a way to pass the massive reconciliation package out of the lower chamber.
The White House on Monday stated that the president has been in communication with House Speaker Mike Johnson over the weekend, in order to stay updated on the legislation that includes several of his high-priority policies. But so far he has not called any of the remaining GOP holdouts.

“Over the weekend the president was in direct conversation and communication with the Speaker of the House. He’s been very involved. He always is,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said. “He’s willing to pick up the phone when he is asked to. So he’ll continue to be very engaged in this process with both House members and his friends on the Senate side as well.”
It is not clear what time the meeting will take place.
