Man slips past security onto 'Today' show set, looking for Al Roker, shouts racial slur: report

An intruder managed to breach security and make his way onto the set of NBC's "Today" show on Thursday, where he allegedly lunged at host Craig Melvin and shouted a racial slur. 

The man was asking for Al Roker, and when he couldn't find him, the man confronted Melvin, law enforcement sources told TMZ. 

The incident happened around 9 a.m., and staff and security rushed in to apprehend the intruder. The intruder, who is white according to TMZ, was unarmed. He was detained and arrested. 

There was no broadcast in progress when the incident happened, and nobody was hurt.
