'How do you like my garbage truck?': Trump takes MAGA-branded ride in Wisconsin
"This truck is in honor of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden," he said.
Former President Donald Trump showed up to his Green Bay, Wisconsin driving a Trump-branded garbage truck in homage to President Joe Biden's recent retort in which he appeared to label Trump's supporters as "garbage."
"How do you like my garbage truck?" he asked reporters. "This truck is in honor of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden."
The white garbage truck featured Trump's campaign logo and slogan as well as American and Trump flags.
Biden on Tuesday evening addressed a bit from comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who roasted Puerto Rico as a "floating island of garbage" during a set at Trump's Madison Square Garden rally.
"The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters," Biden said on a campaign call. The White House later provided a transcript of the event that read "supporter's" and Biden himself indicated that he had referred to Hinchcliffe's comments.
But Republicans don't buy the explanation.
"He called them garbage, and they mean it, even though, without question, my supporters are far higher quality than crooked Joe or lyin' Kamala," Trump said at an earlier rally in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
