The Iran war began in late February, with the administration initially stating it expected the conflict to last only several weeks.
President Donald Trump appeared to downplay any talk of a rift between him and Vice President JD Vance on Wednesday after the latter posted a frank assessment of why he believed the GOP suffered major midterm losses.
"I know how he feels about it. I think it was fine. I thought it was good," Trump told reporters, when pressed on Vance's comments.
