Pro-Trump MAGA Kentucky PAC releases first ad targeting Massie
"This ad slams me for voting against the BBB, but the Senate just stripped the 'ban on sex changes for minors' from the BBB," Rep. Thomas Massie said.
The pro-Trump MAGA Kentucky PAC released its first ad targeting Rep. Thomas Massie – the first spot in a $1 million ad buy amid a feud between the president and the Kentucky Republican.
The 30-second ad released Thursday and titled “What happened to Thomas Massie?” slams the congressman for his opposition to legislation supported by President Trump that would fund border security and cut taxes, in addition to the commander-in-chief's airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites last week.
“After Trump obliterated Iran’s nuclear weapons program, Massie sided with Democrats and the Ayatollah,” the ad’s narrator says, with an image of Massie flashing on the screen with other images of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.
Massie reacted to the ad on Friday, posting seven seconds of it on X, which mentions Trump banning sex changes for minors in the "Big Beautiful Bill" and how the congressman voted against it.
"The BBB now allows funding sex changes for minors!" Massie wrote. "This ad slams me for voting against the BBB, but the Senate just stripped the 'ban on sex changes for minors' from the BBB. By the ads' twisted logic, those who support the Senate's edits now support sex changes for minors."
The new MAGA Kentucky super PAC was created earlier this week and will work to unseat Massie in the May 2026 GOP primary election.
